Scottie Whigham was chosen as this year's turkey stamp artist of the year by the Mississippi Wild Turkey Federation. This is the first stamp competition that Scottie has entered. He is dedicating this achievement to the memory of his step-father, Larry Bounds, who passed away on January 20th. Limited edition turkey stamps and prints will be available starting on March 6th and can be purchased from Turner Brothers Taxidermy at (601) 583-2638.
The Wild Turkey Federation banquet tickets may also be
purchased from Turner Brothers Taxidermy. Tickets are $45 for individuals and $70 for couples. The banquet will be held on March 6th at 5:30pm.

St. Joseph's Catholic Church Art Show & Sale The show date is Saturday, March 27, 9 am - 4 pm at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Poplarville, MS. Receiving date is Thursday, March 25, 10 am - 2 pm; patrons party Friday, March 26 at 6:30 - 8:30 pm.
